Calling all First Nations, Inuit, Métis, and Black students! The Open Doors Program is your chance to receive a $1,000 Research Honorarium for participating in a faculty-supervised independent research project at the 4000 level. This includes independent studies, research projects, directed readings, and honours thesis courses.
This program is designed to help you build essential research skills and prepare for success in graduate studies. Plus, students who pursue a master’s degree at the University of Guelph in the thesis or major research project (MRP) stream may also qualify for a Graduate Entrance Scholarship.
For the 2024/25 academic year, applications are open to those who are registered in or have completed a faculty-guided independent research project for credit in F24, W25, or S25 semesters.
Deadline: Submit your application by March 30, 2025!
