Thank you to the artists, educators, students, families, Athletics staff, and all the individuals working behind the scenes to make this year's Art Show and reception a resounding success! Last Thursday's event was full of connection, excited energy, joy, wonder, and awe as we celebrated children's artistic creations from each of the CCLC classrooms. In case you missed it, here are a few of the artists inviting their families into their artistic endeavours. We hope that this experience allowed adults to study children's thinking and uplift their contributions to the world. Until next year!

We have a new location for our Art Show next week! Come and see our work in the Larry Pearson Lobby of the Athletics Centre from April 13 - 17th. Thank you for hosting us!

Since 2015, the CCLC has curated an Art Show with the children, and for the past couple of years we have showcased this exhibition in the University Centre Student Lounge. We are eager to show case our art work again this April during exam season with the goal of bringing art, joy, and inspiration to students as they prepare for finals. This year, classrooms are exploring a wide range on concepts, including watercolours, storybook making, 3D art designs, embracing specific artists, painting in unique locations, and the art of dance and movement. Please come by the Athletics Centre (main lobby) to explore children’s art creations during April 13 - 17th!

We wanted to share a big THANK YOU to FRHD*3200 practicum students, our full-time co-op students, and our part-time student assistants, office assistants, and kitchen assistants who have helped make the CCLC a living, breathing lab school and a wonderful learning community over the last year. We have had over 150 students join us in a variety of roles over the last year, each imprinting upon, and shaping the CCLC, in unique ways. We are grateful for your contributions, relationships with children, and support of the CCLC. We wish you luck with your exams and look forward to when our paths cross again.
