EYES FORWARD, HEART OPEN 💗
This is the mantra I've chosen for 2022.
After the all of uncertainty and change these past two years have brought, I've been finding it hard to create goals for this New Year (maybe you have been too?).
As someone who's a planner, not having a vision typically makes me feel anxious and untethered.
But maybe that's just what these past two years have been trying to teach us? To loosen our grip on the perceived control we have over our lives. And, instead, let go and trust that everything will work out and we'll be led where we're meant to go.
So that's what I'm committing to—moving forward into the uncharted territory of this year with my eyes focused forward on on the future, and my heart open to whatever unfolds over the next 12 months.
I'd love to know, is there a word or mantra you're carrying with you into 2022? Share it below and tell me what it means to you 💗

Curling up with the first of manyyy books I plan to read over the holidays—Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown 💗
My sensitive soul feels both ready and entirely unprepared to dive in...*cue the Kleenex* 😢
I love reading books that break me wide open. Books that, after I've finished them, require me to Humpty Dumpty myself back together again into an entirely new person with all of the knowledge I've gained.
And I have a feelin' this is gonna be ones of those books 🙌
What books are on your To Be Read pile for the holidays?? Let me know below 👇
OR if you're in need of a recommendation, drop a 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ in the comments and I'll hook you up with a hella good read 😉📚

⚡ NEW PODCAST EPISODE ⚡
I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Andrew Jones, owner of The Daily Grind 519 and an all-around amazing human.
We had a killer conversation about his career journey of working in the construction industry for 19+ years, and how he's able to run not one but *two* businesses alongside a full-time job 🤯
And that's not all! Andrew also shares what inspired the idea for The Daily Grind 519, what it is that drives him to continue growing both businesses (and it’s NOT money), and the biggest piece of advice he has for anyone who dreams of starting their own business.
This is a heck of an inspiring episode, let me tell ya!

I recently had the pleasure of being on the All Personal Podcast, hosted by Roxana Radulescu, and what an incredible conversation we had 🔥
Roxana and I talk about how the the rebel in me was born, my journey of becoming a career coach for rebellious peeps (like me), and SO MUCH MORE, including:
⠀
🎙️ How I realized that even though I followed all the rules, and did everything according to the rules, I was still so unhappy ⠀
🎙️ How asking the question ‘what else could be possible?’ can be a pivotal moment for many of us ⠀
🎙️ What were some of the strong skills muscles that helped me make the shift from corporate to business, and the skills muscles I had to work on growing ⠀
🎙️ How some corporations lose so much talent because they’re not flexible to make room for the various talents that people bring, and allow them to move where they fit best ⠀
🎙️ How we all want to contribute, make a difference and work with purpose, and realize there’s much more we can do ⠀
🎙️ Why passion, values and skills are THE place where we can find real magic – and how to do that 😃

⚡ NEW PODCAST EPISODE ⚡
Do you consider yourself to be creative? I do but, truth be told, I haven’t always.
And the same can be said for my guest in today's *brand new* episode of Career Rebel, Natalie Merritt-Broderick, who didn’t identify as being creative until just recently in her life.
Although she loved writing from a very young age, when it came time to choose a career path, Natalie went the corporate route, like so many of us do. In fact, she worked in corporate for 28 YEARS before walking away in 2017.
And since then, Natalie’s creativity has skyrocketed! She published her first book, discovered her love of acrylic pour painting and resin, and developed a course called Being Intentionally Creative.
Natalie shares all about her corporate to creative journey, along with some powerful wisdom about the importance of embracing your creativity and the profound effect it can have on your life.
This is a hella inspiring episode that you won't wanna miss! Listen now at CareerRebelPodcast.com or by searching "Career Rebel" on Spotify or Apple Podcasts 🎧🌈💖

If there's anything I've learned over the course of my own career it's that, while we think a brightly-lit marquee sign will appear before us with "IT'S TIME TO MAKE A CAREER CHANGE" written in big, bold letters to indicate when we've reached that point in our journey—that's not *at all* what happens.
What happens instead is that you'll receive little nudges. A whole bunch of them over the period of time from when you subconsciously realize a change is necessary, to when you actually make it.
These nudges usually start out gentle, but if you fail to notice them they can get a lot less subtle over time in an attempt to get you to DO SOMETHING.
The problem is, if you don't know how to identify these nudges or, more importantly, what they're trying to tell you, you won't make the career change you need to make.
That's exactly why, in the most recent episode of Career Rebel I'm sharing what nudges to look out for—especially the harder to notice ones, what I call covert indicators.
Find out what these covert indicators are by tuning in at CareerRebelPodcast.com or by searching "Career Rebel" on Spotify or Apple Podcasts 🎧🌈💖

Ah, career change. It's bound to happen at some point during your working years.
But how do you know when it's time to make a move?
In today's brand new episode of Career Rebel, I'll be sharing some important signs to look out for—specifically the *covert indicators* 🕵️♀️
I call them covert indicators because they can sometimes be harder to notice, and even harder to causally connect to your work. Meaning, you may not even recognize them as signs it's time to make a career change 😯
Find out what these covert indicators by searching "Career Rebel" on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or by heading to CareerRebelPodcast.com 🎧🌈💖
