FALL 2020 PLANS: This email just went out via email to my students and parents (message me to be added to my studio email list)

Hi students and parents,

I trust you are keeping well during these challenging times and have had a great Summer!

It is that time to send another email regarding my private teaching this Fall. I think with Schools opening, we are safe to go ahead and plan as well for lessons as usual in my Fairmeadow Studio (39 Fairmeadow Drive, Guelph).

SAFETY ROUTINE

Here is the routine I propose:

1) I will space blocks of lessons (each student or family of students) by 15 minutes this year so that there is no overlap between students/families so we can keep the physical distancing in place in my studio hallway and waiting area.
2) Make sure you use hand sanitizer before and after your child’s lesson, or wash hands thoroughly in the studio washroom before and after the lesson. I will be disinfecting the bathroom area regularly and all main surfaces and entrance door handle.
3) Wear masks into my studio until instrument is tuned up. I too will wear a mask. You then can remove your mask for the lesson (physically distanced).
4) Any time I need to do some “hands on” or close monitoring of playing, I will wear a mask.
5) Please do not attend your lesson if you are not feeling well.
6) I am happy to put any other safety procedures in place, if these will make you feel more comfortable with an in person lesson.

ZOOM LESSONS

I will continue to offer Zoom Lessons for those who live further away or are needing to self isolate for some reason.

FEES

My fees will stay the same this year - $30 per half hour lesson, $45 per forty-five minute and $60 per hour.
