We're thrilled to welcome back Dr. Ev Post who will be teaching 's online, accredited 12-week course, Equine Health & Disease Prevention this fall!

Dr. Post’s background is varied and involves many aspects of the equine industry, from a cowboy heritage to a hunter/ jumper adolescence to private practice to academic pursuits to continuing education.

Teaching this course for over a decade, Dr. Post says, "Are you wondering if you are asking the right questions, making the right decisions, helping your vet or doing the right thing for your horse? My job as the instructor of Equine Health and Disease Prevention is to boost your confidence so you know you're doing the best you can and that what you do will help your horse. welcomes Dr. Alexandra Rankovic as course instructor of our 12-Week accredited, online course Equine Anatomy & Physiology which will be offered Sept 2026.

Dr. Alexandra Rankovic is a Research Associate in Companion Animal and Equine Nutrition at the University of Guelph, where she completed her MSc and PhD. She has experience teaching across a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including equine nutrition, anatomy, and physiology.

Her work focuses on understanding how nutrition and physiology interact to support health and performance across species, including horses. She has contributed to many peer-reviewed publications and has experience working with both industry professionals and horse owners to apply science in practical settings. She is also the host of the equine-focused episodes of the Pet Food Science Podcast.

Alexandra has been involved with horses for most of her life and enjoys bringing practical, real-world context into her teaching. In her spare time, you can find her at the barn with her horse Fancy Nancy.
