Every week should be Earth Week! 🌎 Our students care deeply about the environment and had a chance to tidy up a local park this week as part of The City of Guelph's Clean and Green program. It was great to get out and make a difference in our Community.

Our class took a field trip to the tree nursery today, where they got to get their hands dirty, transplanting seedlings and learning all about environmental conservation. An immersive day wrapped up with a hike in the beautiful surrounding woodlands.

When children are given choice, they become more motivated and enthusiastic learners with a real sense of responsibility. 🌿

In the Montessori classroom, children have the opportunity to plan and organize their workday so they can keep track of what they have done and work toward long and short term goals.
