We are inviting English-speaking youth (ages 12-17) who reside in Canada to participate in a research study examining legal decision-making. Participants will meet with a researcher in a one-on-one virtual interview (up to 2.5 hours’ time commitment). Meetings can take place over 1-2 sessions with breaks. Welcome to the page of the Psychology, Law, and Neurodevelopmental Research & Policy Group!

We are a research lab at the University of Guelph and apply clinical, developmental, and forensic psychological theory in understanding the experiences and needs of vulnerable populations in both criminal justice and community settings. We investigate Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and neurodevelopmental disabilities across the lifespan, with a focus on the criminal justice system.
