I offer after-school, PD day/holiday, and summer childcare. With trails and a forest just steps from our home, outdoor adventures are a focus.

I had a wonderful time learning at the recent “Sensory Play through the Ages” workshop with the Early Years Professional Resource Centre through Wellington County. Fresh ideas for sand, water, and clay play this summer. Also, so wonderful to connect with other local childcare providers, learning together and supporting each other. Awesome night!

Summer care available!
Looking for a small-group, home-based care option for your children this summer? My licensed home childcare program will run full days this summer, offering a supportive and engaging environment for children.
Outdoor focused, we have lots of forest and trails to explore, as well as playgrounds nearby and a mud kitchen and water play options in my backyard. Music, art, games, and storytelling are also be big focuses. Lunch and snacks are provided.
I have summer care spots available the weeks of July 17-21, August 14-18, and August 28-Sep 1.
Rates are $137.50 for ages 3-5, and $250 for ages 6+. Ideally, children will be within the age range of 3.5-8.

Program details:
- Competitive rates ($14 daily for after-school care for under age 6 through the Canada Wide Early Learning and Childcare Agreement)
- Licensed with Wellington County.
- Excellent 6:1 child to adult ratio.
- Focuses: outdoor play and forest walks, crafts, reading, cooperative board games, building toys.
- Backing onto green space, close to playgrounds.
- Wholesome snack provided.
- 3PM-6PM. I live near Clairfields/Beaver Meadow and will pick up children from school.
- After-school care families get first spots for full-day PA Day and School Break care.
- About me: I'm a homeschooling parent to two great kids, and a bird monitor for rare Charitable Research Reserve.

Pictures from our rainy forest walk yesterday.

Found some lovely treasures in the forest. We've noticed that the fruit this year is less plentiful and juicy with all the dryness. Leaving more for our furry and feathered friends and wishing them well.
