Today we explored learning through play! πππ₯
Our toddlers were naming different foods and carefully lining them up. What may look like simple play is actually supporting so many important developmental skillsβlanguage growth, categorization, sequencing, problem-solving, and early math concepts.
By following a childβs interests, we can create meaningful learning opportunities that feel fun and natural. Whether theyβre sorting by color, size, or simply creating their own order, theyβre building important foundations for future learning.
Play is powerful! π

π Exploring Balance and Motion! π
Today, W discovered a new way to play by flipping a balance board over and turning it into a track for a large ball! He carefully rolled the ball along the curved surface, using both hands to guide its movement while watching closely to see what would happen next.
Through this playful investigation, W practiced hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and cause-and-effect thinking. He showed great concentration and persistence as he adjusted his movements to keep the ball rolling along the board.
Learning comes alive through hands-on exploration, and preschoolerβs curiosity turned a simple piece of equipment into an exciting STEM challenge! πβ½β¨
