Congratulations to these MUCC grads who graduated from Gronlid School when they were in grade 8, and now today walked the stage for their grade 12 diploma! We are so proud of you today and wish you all the best as you start the next chapter of your lives. Gronlid students and staff were happy to give a special gift to these students in honour of Gronlid School’s final year. We are so grateful to these young ladies for their continued love and support of Gronlid School while they were in high school. They are fantastic role models for the younger students and an example of how to stay connected to your community once you move away. Many hugs from Gronlid School to these graduates!

A message from the Principal:
Our SCC decided to pose for a picture. Amy couldn’t join us today so she isn’t in the picture. This group of ladies has gone above and beyond for the past several years helping Gronlid School to be the amazing place that it is. I can’t express how grateful I am to this group for the countless hours they have dedicated to our students and our school community. This last school year has been busy, emotional, and exciting, and this group has made sure that everyone had what they needed, organized many fun events for our community, and helped make the last year the best one yet. Thank you a million times for all that you have given!

Thank you for coming to our Farewell Party! We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who made this evening very special. A HUGE thank you to all who donated to our fundraisers so that we could put on this fantastic party. We also want to thank Herb and Lois Jansen and the Gronlid Church for surprising us with bouncy castles and popcorn for the children. That was a kind and very generous gesture. As you scroll though the pictures you will see our fireworks guy Derek. Thank you Derek for a FANTASTIC show.

We learned all about fire safety yesterday when we had a visit from Cassidy and Sparky the Fire Dog from the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency. We learned about smoke alarms, safety tips, and escape plans, and got activity books to bring home. Thanks for helping to keep us safe!
