The Class of 2030 will be taking part in Lockerby’s, ‘Viking House Sorting Ceremony,’ the 3rd annual tradition that is held in our Auditorium. At the ceremony, our new Grade 9 Vikings will be sorted into their respective Viking Houses and assigned their classes for their first year of high school. The Class of 2030 will remain in their Viking Houses throughout their time at Lockerby Composite School and will be participating in House activities throughout their high school careers. Each of our six Viking Houses will also be composed of teachers, faculty, and staff (who were sorted too)!

Our ‘Viking House Sorting Ceremony’ will be live-streamed on our Youtube channel () at 8:30am on Tuesday morning.

The Ministry of Education has announced new changes regarding achievement and attendance. An email letter containing some of this new information was shared with parents/guardians this morning via our ‘Lockerby Info’ email. We have also posted this information in the ‘News River’ through the new Edsby Platform (sign-up today). As we start the new school year (and all throughout), students will be kept up-to-date.

There will be several new additions to our Viking Staff in September! Today, we’d like to shine the spotlight on (and welcome) Ms. Re*****on! Ms. Re*****on will be teaching in our English Department.

Success! Our 4th annual ‘Glow-Up Day’ yesterday was amazing! A big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped spiffy-up the school in preparation for our first day of classes on September 8th! A special thank you to Southview Greenhouse Growers for supporting our event!
