St. David Catholic Elementary School

FIFA fever hit Mrs. Price's class today. They celebrated the beginning of the World Cup today and then played some soccer.

Get your dance moves ready and save your change for the annual outdoor dance party next Tuesday, June 16!

Through a hands-on cookie mining activity in Ms. Visentin’s grade 4/5 class, students applied measurement and money concepts by calculating the area of the land, purchasing land and tools, tracking mining costs, and calculating profits. This activity reinforced learning in Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics by exploring rocks and minerals, the environmental impacts of mining, and the role of mining in jobs and industries.

St. David School Kindergarten teaching teams are excited to welcome our newest little DRAGONS to the St. David Catholic School family June 17th at 1:30 PM for the Welcome to Kindergarten event!

🎲📚 Learning + Fun = A Great Day at St. David School! 📚🎲

The best learning experiences always include FUN!😄 The St. David School grade 4/5 students teamed up with their Kindergarten friends for an afternoon filled with games, laughter, mentorship, and learning! 🌟🤝

Through playing games together, students practiced important skills like problem-solving, communication, teamwork, patience, and sportsmanship. 🎯🧩🎲 The older students did a fantastic job guiding, encouraging, and supporting their younger buddies, while our Kindergarten learners brought plenty of enthusiasm, curiosity, and smiles! 😊💙

It was wonderful to see friendships grow, confidence build, and learning happen naturally through play. 🌱✨

Madame Bozic's core french students enjoyed playing soccer and volleyball outside. Having fun while learning French is important! (I love playing soccer with my friends = J'aime jouer au soccer avec mes amis.)
