Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School is a JK-6 English and French Immersion school in Sudbury, ON. Holy Cross opened in September 2012.

In 2008-2009 the Sudbury Catholic District School Board's South/Central family of schools underwent an accommodation review. This process gave rise to the creation of Holy Cross, a state of the art green elementary school in the city's south end, and an expansion of St Benedict Catholic Secondary School. Welcome back, Holy Cross Families! 🏫🚗

We are so excited to kick off the new school year! Over the summer, we’ve made some exciting upgrades to our campus, including almost doubling our parking capacity to make arrival and dismissal smoother for everyone.

To keep our students safe, please take a moment to review our updated routines:

- Please park in the main Holy Cross lot.
- Walk your child(ren) to the new south-side crosswalk.
Staff will be there to greet students and help them safely cross to the front doors.

Afternoon Pick-Up (3:05 PM)
- Please park in the main lot.
- Meet your child(ren) at the designated waiting area (staff will be supervising outside the library area).

Safety Reminders:
Bus Lane: The front driveway is reserved exclusively for school buses.

Daycare Parking: The angled spaces near the play yard are for daycare families and staff only.

Holy Cross Parking: Please use our main lot for all school-related drop-offs and pick-ups.

Mme Riutta, Mrs. Malafarina, Mme Dopson and Mrs. Batchilder’s classes had the best time at the Baseball Academy!
Our students spent two action-packed hours working on their baseball fundamentals, running, throwing, catching, and batting skills. The energy was high and the smiles were even bigger!

A HUGEthank you to the fantastic coaches at the Baseball Academy for sharing their expertise and keeping our little athletes engaged and motivated the entire time.👏
