The Laurentian Interprofessional Health Council (LIHC) is accepting new representatives for the 2023–2024 academic year. We are a group of future health care professionals working together to collaborate on health issues and care in Northern Ontario.

Join LIHC in welcoming the Cardiac, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Asthma Clinic on Wednesday March 15th at 6pm over zoom!! 🎙️

We will hear from Christine Spence, a physiotherapist and certified respiratory educator within the pulmonary rehabilitation team. We will be discussing the effects of long-COVID on healthcare delivery at Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, how they are managing the complex health conditions of patients and the roles of the interdisciplinary team.

We are looking for motivated, ambitious, intelligent, and energized students to apply for the executive and representative roles on the council. Challenging your critical thinking about medical case studies and gain valuable experience working in an inter-professional healthcare team!

The Laurentian Interprofessional Health Council (LIHC) is a proud interprofessional council that includes health science students from several programs at Laurentian University. We are looking for motivated, ambitious, intelligent, and energized students to apply for the executive and representative roles on the council. When opening the application an in-depth description of the Council and some events that we host are there. The application deadline is April 5th, 2021 to be a part of the 2021-2022 council.
