It's been a long time coming, but we'd like to introduce you to our incredibly talented and organized Recording Studio Manager, Brian Fox!
An Anishnabe from Wiikwemkoong, Brian Fox dedicated himself to a path of music that has led him to be a contributing member at Debebajehmujig Storytellers. From playing in big bands and combos at Espanola High School, he pursued post-secondary music studies. His first stop was at Cambrian College, where he studied Music-Performance. After some years of experiencing life, Brian continued his studies at Laurentian University where he achieved his BA with Honours in Music. His other achievements include participations in the Kiwanis Music Festival of Sudbury. He also worked with Debajehmujig Storytellers in past productions such as: The Gulch (2008), An Honour Story (2011), Lupi the Great White Wolf (2016). His work with Debajehmujig also includes creating music and soundscape for Thunders and Water Monsters: Amazing But True Stories (2010) and most recently A Disconnected Christmas (2019).
