📣 Our next Networking With event is coming up on Tuesday, September 15th from 6 to 8 PM here at SWC (174 Douglas Street, Suite 201)!

Join SWC and the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic for an informative evening focused on free legal supports available to low-income residents throughout the District of Sudbury.

The Sudbury Community Legal Clinic provides free, confidential legal services in areas such as tenant rights and housing issues, income support programs (ODSP, OW, OAS), human rights matters, workplace s*xual harassment, and senior law, including wills, powers of attorney, and elder abuse concerns.

We are pleased to welcome Allison Woods, Executive Director of the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic, and Megan Stuckey, Staff Lawyer with the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic. Allison earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and has extensive experience in tenant protection and income maintenance law. Megan was called to the Bar in 2017 and currently leads the Advocacy North for Elders & Seniors Program, providing free legal advice, advocacy, and education to seniors across Northern Ontario.

This presentation will provide valuable information about legal rights, available community resources, and the supports offered through the Sudbury Community Legal Clinic. Whether you are seeking information for yourself, a family member, or someone you support, this session will help connect you with important legal resources in our community.
