Laurentian University’s Relay for Life Committee will be hosting it’s 5th annual event on campus in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. This is the largest event held on Laurentian’s campus, and their goal this year is to make it bigger and better than ever. There is no better way to do Relay than the Disney way, and that is why this year’s theme is “Wish Upon A Cure”.
Relay for Life 2020 will be held in the Ben F. Avery Gym on March 6th, 2020 from 7pm to 7am. There will be plenty of food, beverages, and games throughout the entire night.
Life is BIGGER than cancer, and we need your help to make a change.

The 2020 Computer Science games will be in Montreal and we are attending! A team of ten students will be traveling to compete in a varety of games related to math and computer science. To be a part of the team, the club will need you’re $200 entry fee by February 5th at the latest. This includes your meal and hotels but does not include travel accommodations. If we have enough people that sign-up, we will send a second team!!! This means that 20 students (and their 2 mentors) will have the amazing opportunity to network with industry leading professionals from all branches of computer science and compete against other universities from all over.

Les jeux en informatique de 2020 seront à Monréal et nous y participons! Une équipe de dix étudiants se déplacera pour participer à une variété de jeux liés aux mathématiques et à l’informatique. Pour faire partie de l’équipe, le club aura besoin de 200 $ pour le 5 février au plus t**d. Cela comprend votre repas et les hôtels, mais ne comprend pas l’hébergement du voyage. Si nous avons suffisamment de personnes qui s’inscrivent, nous enverrons une deuxième équipe !!! Cela signifie que 20 étudiants (et leurs 2 mentors) auront l’opportunité incroyable de réseauter avec des professionnels de pointe de toutes les branches de l’informatique et de rivaliser avec d’autres universités de partout.

Join us on Friday, December 6th for a night of Christmas movies. From 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, the MCSC executive committee will be streaming Christmas movie in the SSR theater. Snacks and beverages are welcomed.

Venez vous joindre à nous dans le théâtre de RES pour visionner des films de Noël. Dès 18h00, le vendredi 6 décembre, les membres exécutifs du CMSI von diffuser une variété de film. Les collations et les breuvages son permit.

Come join us and our friends from LUPSA and MCS in helping clean up our campus. The three associations and additional people who want to participate will begin picking up litter around Laurentian University at 2:30 and will end doing so at 6:00 pm. Prior to the event all participants will be asked to gather in the bowling alley to coordinate before we get started. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday!

Les trois associations et les personnes qui veulent participer vont commencer par ramasser les déchets autour de l'université à 14h30 et finiront à 18h. Tous les participants devront préalablement se rassembler à bowling alley pour coordonner les participants avant de commencer. Nous sommes impatients de voir tout le monde vendredi !
