Today we hosted our 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic!🧸🩷🧸
It was so nice to see so many parents, siblings, guardians, grandparents, friends and special teddy bears!
Days like today are a wonderful reminder that the heart of Westmount is the people who walk through our doors each day.
These are the moments that remind us how lucky we are to grow, learn, and celebrate together. 💛💚

🔦 Flashlight Friday Fun! 🔦
This week, we took our “I Spy” theme to the tuff tables! Students used clues and their flashlights to spy the hidden items. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and detective work happening around Westmount!

We did it! Thanks to the commitment of Westmount students and staff, led by Ms. Moore, we are thrilled to announce that we have achieved PLATINUM status!
Today we hosted an event to build community amongst RDSB students with Special Education needs. With the help of a ParticipACTION community grant, students from Westmount, Princess Anne, and Copper Cliff came together in the spirit of fun and friendship to play Gaga Ball, go on a Nature Walk, play at the big park and our playground, as well as explore a variety of eco friendly sensory activities. We cooled down on this hot day in our sensory friendly gym with healthy snacks throughout the event.

What a day! Today we hosted our first ever Gagaball tournament for students in RDSB with Special Education needs! Stay tuned for all the pics in our next post! We had so much fun!!💚💛
