Sifu Robert Moxam Wing Chun Academy

Our Academy is starting off in 2025 with some advance Qigong training for our instructors. A wonderful opportunity for all in attendance. Thank you GrandMaster Sunny Tang.

Grandmaster Sunny Tang began studying Wing Chun as a teenager, in Hong Kong, under the guidance of the late Grandmaster Moy Yat. During this time they would spend countless hours together training kung fu. Through this relationship Grandmaster Tang also had the good fortune to spend time with his Sigung, Grandmaster Yip Man, who also happened to be his neighbour across the street. Under the tutelage of his Sifu, he was able to learn the complete Wing Chun System. Grandmaster Tang eventually left Hong Kong for England and then later on to Canada, where he has been teaching Wing Chun for over 50 years.

In 1970 Grandmaster Tang brought Grandmaster Hau Shi Ying to Toronto from China. This is when he began his formal study of Qigong. A decade later he studied the Five Animal Frolics from Grandmaster Wan Yin of the Nan Shan Temple in 1980. He has been practicing his Qigong ever since.

This upcoming seminar will be the first time Grandmaster Tang will share his Qigong knowledge with everyone. After all these years of training he will present a Wing Chun Cham Jong (詠春站樁) Workshop that will focus on Qigong Fundamentals, Advanced Chi Sau Concepts, Qigong within the 3 handforms, and Qigong Cham Jong.
