Cambrian Chemical Engineering Program - Lab and Process Control Cambrian College's Chemical Engineering Technology program Emphasis is placed on hands-on, practical laboratory training.

Cambrian College's Chemical Engineering Technology program combines the fundamentals of chemical theory with the necessary practical laboratory work for employment in chemical industries and plants as well as in the environmental sector. Building from a strong grounding in basic scientific principles obtained during the first year of the program, students are trained in sophisticated chemical inst

rumentation techniques that may be used in analytical laboratories. Courses in process instrumentation and industrial processes such as pulp and paper, extractive metallurgy, and water treatment prepare students for work operating and troubleshooting computer-controlled industrial processes. Advanced courses in chemical engineering prepare students to work as part of an engineering team to improve existing programs and develop new ones.
