Our students represented Pius XII with tremendous pride, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship at the recent tournament. They demonstrated perseverance on the field, supported one another through every game, and showcased the values that make our school community so special.

This program is specially designed to focus on mental health mindfulness, helping students foster emotional regulation, build social skills, grow their confidence, and boost overall wellness through engaging activities and guided practices. 🧘‍♂️🌱

- Who Can Attend: All elementary students between the ages of 7–9.
- Dates: August 10–14 OR August 17–21, 2026.
- ⚠️ Please note: These are 2 separate weeks. Please register for one week only - using the QR code below.
- Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Location: St. David School, 549 Frood Rd.
- Transportation is not provided.

Our Mental Health Summer Program is packed with enriching and fun daily routines, including:

- Morning Routine: Calm morning activities and snacks to start the day right.
- Creative Activities: Meaningful projects like an inclusivity quilt and mural.
- Games & Challenges: Interactive fun including an inclusivity scavenger hunt.
- Physical Activities: High-energy games like a water cup relay and water balloon splash-off! 🎈💥💦
- Art & Craft Projects: Hands-on creativity like making DIY feelings fidgets and birdhouses.
- Reflection & Sharing: Daily reflection sessions to encourage sharing experiences and growth.

Students can purchase a ballot for $2.00 for an opportunity to win the exciting role of "Principal for a Day." All proceeds raised will support our Grade 6 year-end celebration and graduation trip.

🎟️ Want to increase your chances of winning? Students are welcome to purchase more than one ballot to improve their odds of being selected!

The lucky winner will enjoy special privileges, including:

⭐ Assisting with morning announcements
⭐ Helping make some school-wide decisions for the day

Our LSC students were hard at work today planting flowers, vegetables, and fresh soil generously donated by St. Albert Adult Learning Centre 2nd Avenue Home Hardware, and The Home Depot. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and support of our school community!

Through this hands-on learning experience, students are exploring how plants grow, what they need to thrive, and the important role that sunlight, water, soil, and care play in the growing process. They are also developing valuable skills in responsibility, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

Thank you to our community partners for helping create meaningful learning opportunities for our students. We look forward to watching our garden grow throughout the season! 🌱🌼🥕
