Banter And Coffee

A wee bit sad the outdoor Saturday market has come to an end but looking forward to some upcoming events! ☕️

If you have a party, staff / customer appreciation, wedding, conference (etc. etc.) coming up and want it to include some caffeine, let me know! 🙂

I love setting up the cart at the hospital… especially when they bring in boxes and boxes of smiles cookies to go with the lattes 🥲

I went there. 🍂 I made my own pumpkin spice syrup. With actual pumpkin in it.

Not normally one to add anything to my latte but figured I’d give it a go! I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.

Here’s the recipe..
• 1/2 pumpkin purée
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1/2 tsp of vanilla
• 1 1/4 cups water
• 1 tsp of cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp of cloves
• 1/4 tsp of ground ginger

Combine all of the above in saucepan - bring to a boil - cook over medium heat for 10-15 mins.

Store in fridge once cooled.

We have a visitor in the shop today! Yelling at the production workers and on his phone the entire time.

If you’ve had my coffee at events, you’ll know that I use 8oz cups for all drinks — it’s the espresso to milk ratio that I love most!

The coffee we serve is so tasty that I don’t want it to get lost in a drink with too much milk.

Each cup still has a double shot of espresso — so it’s a small but mighty drink!

That being said, if you book an event and prefer bigger cups, that can absolutely be done! Coffee preference is subjective 😃

I miss seeing friendly faces, having conversations and drinking coffee all day.

I’ve been a bank teller, bail supervisor, oyster farmer, office paper delivery driver, receptionist, bartender, dracula’s cabaret all-rounder, the list actually goes on... but my favourite job of all is behind an espresso machine ☕️.

she’s all set up and ready to serve you and your friends when gatherings are allowed! we can’t wait!
