This Sunday, Rod Bazinet and I are doing a benefit concert at The Daventry Kitchen & Bar from 2-4

Tickets are $15 each and include a plate of pasta and sauce, with 100 percent of the ticket sales going to the Sudbury Food Bank.

Bob Johnston ended up having an extra two tickets and he is donating them as a prize. So it’s quick contest time.

For anybody that makes a donation of any amount to the Sudbury Food bank and send me a picture of the donation receipt, they are immediately going to be entered into the draw.
As this came up last minute, Prize Winner will be announced tomorrow night. Tickets will be picked up from Bob Johnson.

Good luck everybody
Let’s see how much we can raise for them

Just had a heartwarming moment with my cat, Lyric, where I expressed my love and gratitude towards him with a gentle massage. In return, he gave me a thorough arm bath, showing his appreciation in his own unique-sandpaper tongue - way. It got me thinking, do people reciprocate gestures of kindness in similar ways? Whether it's baking a pie for a neighbor who shoveled your driveway or offering a cookie to someone who brought you coffee, there's something beautiful about the give-and-take of kindness. Personally, I didn't necessarily want a cat bath, but allowing Lyric to reciprocate filled my heart with joy. How do you feel about giving and receiving kindness? Regardless of which role you play, it's truly a blessing.

Thank you to Lyric for showing this music teacher that he still has things to learn.

If this is a year for excellence or just a really cool hobby, let’s have a blast together.

Often it’s quicker to reach me through my personal page, but I will be making a stronger effort to respond on this page as well.

Come for a visit.
I’m happy to meet you and answer any of your questions.

Are you familiar with suspended chords? Try substituting sus chords in place of all your major and minor chords in one of your songs. Leave a comment here as to how the experience felt.

The new school season has brought wonderful new faces as well as familiar ones. There are still a few lesson / session spots available. I've been taking most of the weekends off for performance, practice and composing.
Will be looking for a few places to do house concerts soon.
I'm noticing there are folks just starting their careers that would really like to start learning an instrument or sing and they just don't quite know where to begin. If you'd like to meet or have a quick phone call about this sometime, my line is always open.
