LU Mine Rescue

The Laurentian University Mine Rescue Team is heading out to Colorado tomorrow to compete internationally in the Mine Emergency Rescue Development Competition (M**D) hosted by the Colorado School of Mines!

After months of 6 am training sessions and countless hours of work from our team and coaches, LUMR is ready to showcase our skills in the underground challenge, First Aid competition, and Technician challenge.

This year’s team consists of (back, right to left) Daniel McCormick (Captain), Quinn Roos (2 Man & Technician), Camryn Dunn (3 Ma’am), Pascal Gervais (4 Man), Félix Gervais (Vice-Captain), Luis Urena Tejada (6 Man & Technician) and (front, left to right) Aiden Alloy (First Aid), Calvin Rapin (Briefing Officer), Matthew Guerra (Incident Command).
