Hello to all my fellow reptile lovers. As you are aware I have unfortunately stopped doing reptile shows (for now) but unsurprisingly have found a job still in the pet industry. I have become a dog groomer and am currently working at creativity unleashed. If you or someone you know is in need of a dog or cat groomer I can be reached at the same number as before. I also have no issue clipping lizard nails or assisting with sheds. You can track down my face book page - kirsten at creativity unleashed. Thank you all again for the amazing support!
The Snake Lady -Kirsten Mcmillan.
Using Live Animals to Educate and Entertain Shows include a 15-20 minute talk about reptiles, then a 45 minute handling session with everything.
The format can be changed for different events. The goal of this is to show people that reptiles aren't scary, and are very cool. All my animals are worked with regularly to be really hand tame.
I have some very big news - after a great deal of thought I have decided to step back from shows for awhile. New opportunities have come my way and I am going to follow them for now. I have valued the experience this has given me. I'm sure I'll end up working with reptiles again at some point in the future, for now I will be getting rid of almost everything. That means there are some great deals to be had on animals you've met, as well as set ups and other miscellaneous equipment. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing any animals, I have 3 private events booked for the month, but it will mark the end of the current streak. Thanks for the fun times everyone, it has been amazing.
Now that the summer is officially over (I know, so sad!) I am happy to announce the Scales for Schools raised almost $300 this summer!! I am going to take the number of schools I expect to visit this year and divide the amount equally to give each school some extra money off shows. It's time to start booking school shows now, hoping for plenty of awesome, happy kids this year! First fall show is Oct 16th, can't wait!
In other news - Baby Western Hognose are now available! I have 12, 11 males, 1 female. All normal het hypo. Super friendly and fun little guys, most are eating f/t pinky mice, the others will not be sold until they are as well. Please let me know if you are interested, $125 each.
Sorry I seem to have dropped off the earth, I'm still around! It's back to school for me, so extra busy time of year. I'm still available for birthdays and other events, but will not be participating in the travelling craft fairs this year. Nothing big coming up until November as it stands, if anyone is interested in booking, please send me a message. Thanks!
Great show at the Massey fair today. Despite the rain met lots of reptile lovers. I'll be away next weekend, but will be at the Anderson Fall Fair Sept 14th.

Hey everyone,
Check out the updated website - I will now be carrying all sizes of frozen rodents.
The Snake Lady I have been a hit with all ages using live animals to educate and entertain at any event. I have a collection of over 25 animals and more than 15 different species of snakes, lizards, and turtles....
The weekend is all done! Was a total blast, already looking forward to next year. Big thank you to all the generous donations to Scales for Schools. Massey is next weekend, can't wait! I'll be there from 10-5 Sunday.
Getting ready to head out for day 2 at Providence Bay. Looking forward to seeing more people, and a few people from yesterday I'm sure.
What an amazing day in Providence Bay. First day was unbelievable at the fair, I met some great people today and some extremely generous donations made to Scales for Schools. Definitely going to be some very happy students this year!
Can't wait for this weekend! Somehow managed to get a last minute room and am now ready to go for the Providence Bay Fair.
Also had a great day in Espanola at the library with a great group of kids. Been a great week so far and sounds like great weather for the weekend.

The deaths of the two NB boys are now being looked at as a murder investigation. Not really the outcome anyone wanted, but hopefully this will not reflect poorly on the reptile community.
