5/6A had their field trip to Thomson Lake yesterday and enjoyed spending time together outside!

Hier, les élèves en 3/4B ont rendu visite au maire de la ville. Ils se sont beaucoup amusés en apprenant plus à propos de la ville et le rôle du maire. Un grand merci au maire, M. Forest, pour la visite!

Yesterday, students in 3/4B visited the mayor. They had lots of fun while learning more about the town and the role of the mayor. A huge thank you to Mayor Forest for the tour and visit!

Miss Wallington's class celebrated Donut Day recently where they kicked off new units on graphing, poetry, and flight!

5/6A and 7/8A local winners attended the Moose Jaw Regional Heritage Fair at the end of May to present their projects and participate in activities at the WDM. Three Gravelbourg projects earned awards!

Applications are currently being reviewed, and families will be notified on June 25 regarding whether their child has been accepted into the program.

How does one measure success in an Outdoor Education class? That's simple - take 25 grade 10 students camping for two and a half days! The class ventured to Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park for a weekend of hiking, canoeing, hashing, fishing, mini-golfing, fire starting, stargazing, storytelling, and memory-making. Special shout-outs to our chaperones Sheryn, Hank, Ian, and Mr. Scidmore for helping keep Mrs. Lagasse in line! (She was, apparently, a real handful. 😉)

Congratulations to Benjamin Ratzlaff, who competed in high jump at this weekend's SHSAA provincial Track and Field meet. Ben placed 19th in his final year of competition. Bravo!
