Thank You, Baker Hughes!
A huge thank you to Baker Hughes for treating our Grade 5–8 students to an amazing BBQ and keeping everyone refreshed with much-needed Gatorade on such a hot day! ☀️🌭🥤
Your generosity and community spirit helped make this experience extra special for our students. It’s through support like yours that these fun, meaningful end-of-year activities are possible.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate and say farewell to our amazing Grade 8 students. As part of our Year-End Assembly, we recognized this important milestone and the many contributions they have made to our school community.
Each student has left a special mark by choosing a legacy book for ICPS, an inspiring gift that future students will enjoy for years to come.
We also continued our traditional Farewell Walk, a meaningful moment where we honour our departing grade 8s by having them walk the halls for one last time.
We are so proud of our Grade 8s and wish them all the best in high school and beyond. You will always be a Guardian!

We’re proud to share a fantastic example of community partnership in action!
Mr. Shaw's construction students have been hard at work collaborating with the Pinnacle Neighbourhood Association to build Free Little Library boxes for the community.
From planning and measuring to construction and finishing touches, this project has been a great opportunity for students to apply their skills while making a meaningful contribution right here in our neighbourhood.
A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Campbell for helping get these libraries off to a great start by generously donating some books.
We can’t wait to see these little libraries out in the community, take a book, leave a book, and enjoy!

Today, we gathered to celebrate a year filled with learning, growth, and achievement.
Throughout the year, our students have truly embodied our core values—innovation, collaboration, perseverance, and success. From tackling new challenges with creativity, to supporting one another as teammates and friends, their dedication and resilience have been inspiring to witness.
A huge thank you to our staff for their passion and guidance, and to our families for their ongoing support. Together, we have created a community where students thrive.
See you tomorrow at Bear Creak and for Fun day. Make sure to bring water, wear sunscreen and a hat and be prepared for the heat!

June 21, 2026, is National Indigenous Peoples Day.
We honour and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
We’ve put together a collection of resources to support learning and reflection. We’re also highlighting a powerful Cree language learning app from the Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council Education Authority, featuring over 900 words and phrases spoken by Cree Elders and rooted in land-based learning.
