Is your child scared of the water or wanting to take the plunge or swim their first few strokes unaided?

Our learn to swim program (for children aged between 4 & 10) offers a variety of classes from beginners to advanced, taught by certified instructors.

Our summer classes run weekly, and we pride ourselves on having low instructor-to-swimmer ratios to help your little one learn to swim sooner!

The Grande Prairie Piranhas are honoured to have been selected to host Swim Alberta Summer Festivals 2026 this upcoming weekend. 325 athletes, ages 12 and under from all across Alberta will be competing right here in our home town!

The Piranhas wish their 33 athletes who qualified for this event the best of luck!
