PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES
Alberta College of Body Art is seeking 3 team members to assist with a three-month project supporting the growth of our educational initiatives. These positions are ideal for previous graduates, high school students and/or post-secondary students looking for part time casual employment.
We are currently accepting applications for the following project roles:
Education Assistant
Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities include: calendars, educational materials, inventory management, classroom support
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing administrative tasks independently with minimal training. Preference may be given to applicants who are 18 years of age or older.
Anticipated Start Date: June 19, 2026
Marketing Assistant
Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Applicants must be proficient in Canva, Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of major social media platforms. Candidates should be capable of independently creating content, scheduling posts, and supporting marketing initiatives with minimal training.
Anticipated Start Date: June 24, 2026
Recruitment Assistant
Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities include: booking tours, information sessions, open houses and events, and assisting Admissions coordinator.
Applicants must be comfortable using Microsoft Office, Zoom, email, and online meeting platforms, and confident communicating with prospective students by phone, email, virtual meetings and/or in person. Previous sales, customer service, recruitment, fundraising, or call centre experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should be capable of working independently with minimal training.
Anticipated Start Date: June 29, 2026
SKILLS & INTERESTS
Applicants who possess strong organizational, technology, communication, and customer service skills, and are reliable, organized, and able to work independently are encouraged to apply. An interest in body art, education, marketing, or creative industries is preferred.
PROJECT TERM
This project will run for an initial three-month period. At the conclusion of the project, candidates who demonstrate exceptional reliability, initiative, professionalism, performance, and overall fit may be considered for continued employment and expanded responsibilities, subject to organizational needs.
COMPENSATION
Entry-level with opportunity for permanent placement

Interviews will be conducted on June 17, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

- Tattooing is not a recognized trade in Canada, yet.
This program is the first of its kind in Alberta, and the FIRST IN CANADA to be provincially accredited as a post secondary institution, eligible for student loans!
- Training includes visual aids, theory/book-work, industry professional guest speakers, synthetic skin practice, live model tattooing, quizzes and exam.
- There are no "prerequisites" aside from being 18, though a pre-existing art
