Episode 20 - Practice and Flight Test - Adventure Aviation - Fly Like an Eagle
Last episode. Today we’re practicing for the flight test and pulling everything together. That means tightening the basics, sharpening the maneuvers, and building the calm, repeatable process that examiners want to see. The goal isn’t to be perfect, it’s to be safe, solid, and consistent..... and not throw up 🤮

Your first flight stays with you.

Not only because of what you see, but because of what it means.

Something that once felt out of reach starts to feel possible the moment you leave the ground.

At our school, that is when aviation stops feeling distant and starts feeling real.

Two years is enough time to become a pilot in Canada, but it depends on your goal.

If your goal is a Private Pilot Licence, two years is more than enough time for many students. In Canada, the PPL minimum is 45 hours of flight training and 40 hours of ground school.

If your goal is a Commercial Pilot Licence, two years can still be realistic. A CPL takes much more work because it requires 200 total flight hours and 80 hours of ground school. It is a bigger path, but many motivated students can still reach it in that window if they train steadily.

The key is not just how much time you have. It is how consistently you train.

At Adventure Aviation, students can train in a focused way with on-site accommodations and schedules built around a few weeks of immersion or a couple of months of steady flying. That can help reduce long gaps and keep momentum strong.

Full time students can achieve their PPL and CPL within 1 year if they are enrolled in as full time here at Adventure Aviation.

Episode 19 of 20 - Solo Cross Country - Adventure Aviation - Fly Like an Eagle
Today is the solo cross country. No instructor, no backup, just you, the airplane, and your planning. It’s one of the biggest confidence jumps in flight training because it proves you can think ahead and manage the full flight on your own. Quiet cockpit, VERY loud brain, and a lot of talking to myself... Let’s do it.

Episode 18 of 20 - Diversions - Adventure Aviation - Fly like an Eagle
Today we’re covering diversions, because the plan is only the plan until reality shows up. Weather changes, traffic happens, and sometimes the smart move is to turn or reroute. We’ll work through the process of recalculating on the fly, staying calm, and making clean decisions under pressure.

Episode 17 of 20 - Cross Country - ‪Adventure Aviation Inc.‬ -
Fly Like an Eagle
Today is cross country. This is where flying starts to feel like travel, not just training. We’ll plan the route, check weather, pick checkpoints, and put the whole system together. It’s navigation, decision-making, and staying organized while you’re actually going somewhere.
