Grade one enjoyed a special Waffle Day today! Students made red waffles with white whipped cream to represent Canada’s colours and topped them with maple syrup as a connection to our learning about maple trees and the maple leaf in Canada. A fun, hands-on way to connect our learning to something delicious!
