Our Grade 5 & 6 students hosted the final Student Market yesterday, where students from all grades shopped using their Swan Bucks. So much creativity, excitement, and school spirit all in one place!

June 5, 2026, is a Professional Learning (PL) Day — no classes will be held for students. PL days support GPPSD staff in their ongoing professional growth and school improvement efforts, helping every student succeed.
Classes resume on Monday, June 8, 2026.

What a busy and exciting week it has been for our students!
On Tuesday, our Grade 5 & 6 students brought their energy and teamwork to the Division Track & Field Day at Legion Field with so many great efforts and accomplishments on display! 🏃‍♀️
Wednesday was all about hands-on learning for our Grade 3 & 5 students at Classroom in the Dirt at the Grande Prairie Stompede. Students explored Western heritage, learned about rodeo and chuckwagons, and enjoyed interactive experiences made possible through the support of UFA. 🤠🐎
Today, we wrapped up the week by celebrating our amazing Grade 5 & 6 AMA Patrollers with a year-end pool party and lunch at Eastlink Centre. Thank you for your hard work and dedication keeping our school safe all year long! 💙
It’s been a fantastic week full of learning, activity, and celebration!

Our Grade 1–3 students had an incredible time on yesterday’s field trip to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum! 🦖
From hands-on exhibits and real fossils to interactive learning stations, curiosity was sparked at every turn. Students were especially excited to meet some live animal ambassadors including Mack the African tortoise 🐢 and Peanut the corn snake 🐍!
It was a day full of discovery, wonder, and unforgettable learning experiences. Thank you to the museum staff for making this adventure so engaging for our students!
