Our openings are a fantastic way to come out and connect with artists and locals with similar cultural interests. Our receptions feature beverages, snacks and treats in a warm welcoming venue, the best part being the whole evening is free! Check our website or page for upcoming events.
We have a large selection of pottery that is starting to amp up in the fall. One of our popular ceramic artists is Dee Pottery. Ceramic knitting bowls, mugs, candles and more. Come see what we have on hand … and keep checking as we rotate and refresh our gift shop with new and exciting creations being crafted every month at the Centre for the Creative Arts , downtown Grande Prairie.

Our new course registration is open!! You can still access it from the website on our "Classes" page. It will take a few more clicks BUT it is going to give us so much more. It is simpler and more up to date. Easier for us to update, easier for you to see what classes are available and when. It will also allow for communication between you and your instructors and you and your classmates. We are still working on the supply lists for certain courses which should be done later this week. Our old program was from 2011, it was definitely time for an upgrade. Thank you for your understanding and patience. ED

Join us on an Artventure by Car and Foot Saturday September 19th!
$75.00 per vehicle, includes $10.00 food truck voucher. $1000 dollars in cash and prizes.
-Compete against other families and groups in their vehicles. Travel around Grande Prairie for a 3 hour artventure guided by our clues and take a selfie in front of art installations and participating businesses. Each correct selfie gets your team points. Most points wins! One thousand dollars in cash and prizes to be awarded. A fun way to spend rolling and strolling around Grande Prairie. Come to the finish line party with food trucks and prizes!
Prizes for First place, Second place, Third place and Best mileage.
Registration will begin mid August, spaces are limited.

The new floors are in at the Gallery in the Centre For Creative Arts in Grande Prairie and we are launching the new look with our annual Alberta Culture Days event "Art Squared". The opening reception will be the evening of September 4th and the art will be available to view and bid on all month. I am so excited to see what our local artists have created. We have over 50 local artists participating this year, up from only 30 last year! All creations will be up for silent auction all month long ending September 30th! Proceeds from the sales will go to supporting the Centre. Bid in person, on the phone or online with email or Facebook messenger.
