June 5, 2026, is a Professional Learning (PL) Day — no classes will be held for students. PL days support GPPSD staff in their ongoing professional growth and school improvement efforts, helping every student succeed.

New Collegiate Programming in Grande Prairie Expands Specialized Trades Options for Students The Hold and Secure at Riverstone Public School has been lifted at the direction of the Grande Prairie Police Service. The school was notified of a community concern outside of and unrelated to the school. We were asked to enter a Hold and Secure, which means external doors are locked, and business....
