The combined Charles Spencer and Comp team, which came together as our spring football camp, traveled to the Spruce Grove Jamboree last weekend. Overall, we delivered a strong performance across all three games. The players had a great time and, more importantly, showed solid growth as a team. The coaching staff is very excited about the teams progress and looks forward to the upcoming fall season.

VALERIIA ZAKHARCHUK from Mrs. English’s Fashion 10 class brought their creativity to life by designing and making their very own custom hoodie—showcasing unique style, skill, and personality in every stitch! Way to go Valeriia, looks so good!!

This spring, Ms. Mapp’s art students at The Comp brought imagination to life by creating clay sculptures inspired by Mrs. Backlund’s Grade 3 class from Avondale and their creative ogre and fairy drawings.
Last week, the Avondale students visited us for a special field trip, where they met the artists and collaborated to build diorama backdrops—big thanks to Mr. Edey for his help! It was a fantastic day full of creativity, teamwork, and connection. 🎨✨

On June 4 at the Swan City Soccer Pitch, Charles Spencer and the Senior Comp Phoenix team faced off against the long-standing champion Mavericks in an indoor city championship match. After an intense and hard-fought game, the Comp delivered a dominant performance, securing a 3–0 victory and claiming the title from the reigning champions. Way to go Phoenix!!! You have us all BEAMING with pride in you!! ⚽🏆📣🌟
