Merry Christmas from the year 4 TEN students!!! 🎄🎅

For the last day of classes today, our fourth years planned a cookie exchange and PJ day! 🍪

Children and adults of all ages and skill levels are invited to a FREE evening of math puzzles, problems, and games at NWP’s Math Festival! Our fourth year Education students will be running stations!

This student-led initiative is where brings the community together to explore math through fun hands-on activities that spark curiosity and discovery.

Tuesday, October 28 at 12:20pm in room A201, the ESA will be hosting their Annual General Meeting!

What does this mean?

If you are interested in joining the ESA for next year, please join us in room A201 tomorrow! We will be electing a new ESA at the meeting! Positions available include president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and social media manager!

Certificates for attending our PD Day earlier this month will also be available to pick up!

You must present an ATA card to attend this meeting! We will have ATA memberships available to purchase upon entry!

The ESA will also be providing light snacks and refreshments, as well as a door prize!

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow, and are excited to welcome our new ESA team for the 2026 year!

Here is an idea of the roles we are looking to cover and what each role entails!

These positions are open for anyone in their first, second, or third year of school!

We will be hosting our Annual General Meeting to reject our new ESA for the 2026 year!

If you are interested in supporting the Education students here at NWP, planning events, and creating relationships and connections with students in all four years of their education career, take part in the NWP ESA! This is open to all years!

You must have an ATA card to attend this meeting! We will be provided snacks and drinks, as well as a $50 gift card draw!

You can also pick up for PD day certificates at the meeting!

Today, a few of our education students attended a rally for the current teacher strike! Our lovely president, Kellie Flett, delivered a very thoughtful and inspiring speech, amongst many other amazing teachers, parents, ATA representatives, and even students!
