We are seeking volunteer tutors! No experience needed! 📚📖✏️

A free one-on-one tutoring program for adult learners who need help with reading, writing, math and ESL (English as a Second Language). The Program Manager matches volunteer tutors with learners to support the learner’s needs and goals. Volunteer tutors and learners coordinate times when they can meet.

Easy Tech
6 week — Basic Digital Skills Class

This hands-on course is designed to help beginners build confidence with everyday digital tools in a student-centered learning environment. Over six weeks, learners will explore computer basics, Microsoft Office programs, email, internet safety, and more, tailored to students’ interests and goals. Whether you are learning to type, apply for jobs online, or connect with others through social media, this course offers a supportive space to grow digital skills at your own pace.

Women’s Circle is a warm and safe space for newcomer and immigrant women to learn English, build confidence, and feel supported. Each week, we meet for trauma-informed sessions that combine simple English learning with activities that support well-being, personal growth, and friendship.

The program is led by a qualified English instructor, with a facilitator who guides supportive activities and guest speakers who share helpful community resources. Together, we practice skills for life, community, and work while creating a welcoming space where women can grow and thrive.🌼📚🌸

Work Ready – 9 Week English Language Workplace Class
CLB 4+ (Intermediate Level)

The Work Ready program aims to equip participants with essential skills for success in the workplace. Over the course of 9 weeks, learners will improve their English language proficiency while focusing on key areas such as digital literacy, workplace communication, and the development of soft skills.

CAEC Test Prep (The new GED equivalency)

Covers essential subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts, providing a well-rounded and inclusive education.

The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) is a made-in-Canada education credential designed to meet industry standards and serve as a supportive replacement for the GED in Canada. The CAEC Prep class covers essential subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts, providing a well-rounded and inclusive education. Recognized by employers, post-secondary institutions, and government agencies across Canada.

CELPIP Test Prep – In-person classes

CELPIP Prep classes focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills and use practice exams to prepare learners to get the best score possible on their test.

Express Yourself — Intermediate Level English Class
Mondays

10:00 AM — 12:00 PM

An intermediate conversation class for adult immigrants and newcomers with an English level of CLB 4 or higher to practice listening and speaking in English. Guest speakers will present on banking, housing, navigating the school system, and other relevant topics.
