It’s been a busy few weeks, so here is a little of what we have been up

Loads of fun this week with the littles, we focused on gross motor skills, reading and colours. It was a very busy week to say the least 😊

Another busy week here at Wee Wonders. We focused on creative play and improve story making, all based on the kids suggestions. I’ve never heard kids laugh so hard as to when we were making our fairy tale story as a group with some actions and lots of noise!

It was a busy week last week and fun had by all. Paintings, pictures and aquarium builds for the kids to watch their creatures grow :)

A brief back story of how Wee Wonders came about:
Recently new to Grande Prairie I was seeking employment and noticed the lack of childcare for my own kids. Having job opportunities with no childcare in sight for my Wee ones it left me Wondering.. I can’t be the only person who found this struggle overwhelming, the need to work yet no care for their family. So I sat and thought of all possibilities until it dawned on me.
See what it takes to make a exciting and engaging experience for childcare I would seek for my own kids.
After much research and thought I came to the decision to take my certification for early child educator/provider.
With my background in healthcare I thought
“heck I already have a CRC & Venerability Sector,Child Intervention Check, CPR & First Aid at a health care level”
I would be the type of person I would want caring for my children, why not give it a go and help other families seeking amazing care also!!

So here I am, awaiting exam marks for certification for ECE and already have my space growing, full of wonderful toys, learning materials, with a lunch/craft room, play/learning room and a quite/nap room for those sleepy heads,private bathroom & ample outside space to stretch their Wee legs and security cameras for extra precaution.
