Happy March, everyone! With the longer daylight hours, we are starting to have a little more "Spring" in our step! 🌞

Maybe, it's spring cleaning time, and the closets need an overhaul! 🥾👕👚👖🧥 As you do your spring cleaning and sorting, please consider donating gently used clothing to our program. Everyday we support community members who may not have access to basic essentials, such as warm clothing and hygiene items. Your donations help restore dignity and comfort to those who are the most vulnerable in our community. Our clothing room is empty, and so is our storage area, so we could use a little magic. 🪄 💫 Thank you, Grande Prairie and outlying areas and communities, for always showing up for one another, and for our Kikinaw Outreach Program! Our community is amazing! Donations can be dropped off at 10513 -98 Ave. Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6pm 😍🤩😍

Looking back on last year’s healing retreats fills our hearts with so much gratitude. From our women’s gatherings to our family camps, each one was a time of coming together on the land, sharing story, laughter, and miyo-pimâtisiwin (the good life). Surrounded by the trees, the water, and the medicines, we witnessed beautiful moments of connection, healing, and renewal.

We carry those memories forward as we prepare for this year’s camps. êkwa tânisi, we are excited to gather again in a good way kîyokêwin, in visiting, in ceremony, and in community.
