🚨 ATTENTION VICTOR LAKE CO-OP BUS STUDENTS 🚨

Until further notice, Route 428 to Susa Creek School will be adjusted in the Victor Lake Co-op area due to road conditions that are currently unsafe for student transportation.

For families affected, arrangements can be made with the bus driver to meet at a safe location.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely. Regular service will resume as soon as the road is safe for school bus transportation. Please note that other areas may also be affected from time to time depending on road conditions.

In April, the students visited the fire hall, where they learned about fire safety. The students also visited the Grande Cache Tourism and Interpretive Centre to learn more about the community’s history.
We have also been working hard to get our school garden, Nihtawkicikan, started. Students work on the garden as part of their land-based learning. They also had the opportunity to learn about the cultural use of the elk rib, as well as how to properly cut and remove meat from the back end of the elk. The day ended with bannock and elk stew.
Overall, it was a great April!
