We have one spot available for semi-self board. We do morning feed, you fill hay net for night feed & pick your pen.
Each horse has an individual pen with shelter. We provide group turn-out in large runs that have varied terrain & lots of trails throughout, which encourages movement & mental stimulation similar to a track system.
We are located up Carmi area close to Penticton. It's a 5-7 min drive to town. However, we are up on the mountain, so we do get winter up here.
You can co-op chores with other boarders to make things easier & I'm available to help if needed when you can't get up for your night feed. We want involved horse owners up here. Hence, we are not offering full board at this time.
We are relaxed and focussed on fun & peaceful experiences with our horses & horse friends. Therefore, no crazy horse ladies need apply. But horse crazy ladies are 100% welcome!
We have a riding arena with obstacles & a 6' high, 60' round pen. While we have plans to add a few more pens, we plan on staying small.
Our property borders crown land, with lots of trails & the Carmi trailhead is a 5 min walk. from our place. The riding is amazing up here. Lots of variety.
Your horse will need good feet as we prefer no shoes for our horses in group turnout.
Certified coach on-site. Horsemanship & vaulting lessons available at an extra cost. Monthly commitment required.
$550/month plus gst. Hay included but a hay surcharge may be added if hay costs increase.
We also have a pad for an rv or tiny home. $900/month plus power. Fenced yard & space for a little garden.
