If you previously indicated that your child will be coming back to Kids Kingdom in September but no longer need care please let us know ASAP to allow other families to register! 💛💙 From the bottom of our hearts, we are overwhelmed by the amount of support we’ve received since the untimely flood.

So many have asked, “What can we do?” offering donations of money, time, and labour to help our rebuild. We didn’t want to simply accept support without a clear plan.

We wanted to find a way to turn this moment into something meaningful...something that reflects what The Art Emporium is all about:

Community. Creativity. Connection.

✨️ One of our main priorities is being fully operational by fall when our students at Morgan Art Academy return to classes.

It’s also important to us that they see firsthand that ART is impactful, and that community support can help create real change. ✨️

So THIS is how we are focusing your support toward our rebuild: 🥁 🥁🥁

🎨🖌 The Community Rebuild Mural: “Piece by Piece”

Each year at Morgan Art Academy, our students take part in a community public art project. Last year, we created a mural that was proudly donated to the town. This year, we are creating something even more meaningful for our new future home: a collaborative mural titled “Piece by Piece.”

This collage-style mural will be created by our young academy artists, inspired by themes of rebirth, resilience, and rebuilding.

The best part? You can be part of it!

🎨 For every $20 donated, a tile will be added to the mural, painted by our students and sponsored by our community.

As we end ECE week, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of the families who brought treats, cards, and other thoughtful gestures during ECE Week. Your kindness and appreciation truly mean so much to us, and we are incredibly lucky to have such caring and supportive families in our centre community.

I also want to take one last opportunity to recognize our amazing staff. A child care centre can have all the best toys, materials, and resources, but at the end of the day, a building is just a building — it’s the people inside who bring it to life. The care, patience, dedication, and love that our educators show each and every day are what make our centre such a special place for children and families.

Thank you to our incredible team for all that you do. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so grateful for each of you.
