MonGar Properties Inc.

MonGar Properties Inc. Monika & Gary are your hosts and the proud owners MonGar Properties Inc. Our journey began with a dream of becoming our own boss. Check us out!

With decades of combined experience in restaurant management, retail, healthcare, and construction, we chose to change directions and make Grand Marais our home —drawn in by its natural beauty and the hidden opportunities waiting to be uncovered. We have dedicated long hours—often weekends and evenings—to refurbishing a few homes. With complementary skills and a shared love for restoration,we absolutely love breathing new life into run down yet charming cabins for vacation stays. We are but only two people with a goal to create peaceful escapes where guests can unwind, reconnect with family, and enjoy the simplicity of nature. Our current property is surrounded by beautiful trees and offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life with ample space to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. We'd love to be your hosts!
