🍎🥛Starting June 29, 2026, we will be offering the After the Bell Program.

🛎️After The Bell is supported by Food Banks Canada and provides nutritious, child-friendly food packs throughout the summer when school-centred supports are not available so kids can soar on the swings and splash in the community pool with their friends.

Healthy food packs are available for pick-up once per week per child, while supplies last. Pick-up is only available on Mondays 🌞

Yesterday we had our Year End Variety Show! What a great group of students☺️

We held our Grade 4&5 Awards Ceremony for 2026 this morning and here are our winners!

Our Grade 7 Science Expo wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, and we want to extend a huge congratulations to all of our Grade 7 students!

Your hard work, creativity, and dedication over the past several months were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of what you accomplished.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our generous community sponsors who helped make this event possible. Through their support, all students had access to the materials they needed to succeed, and their contributions helped us recognize student achievement with exciting prizes. Thank you to Hydro, HVGB Shriners, Northfield Builders, DBH Limited, Hicon, Holistic Haven, Wok Box, Becken Photography, Pikes Home Hardware, Dandy Dollar Store, Terrington Co-op, and LATP.

We would also like to thank our volunteer judges and community representatives from Healthy Waters Labrador, NL Health Services, and CNA for sharing their time and expertise as they listened to student presentations and selected our award recipients.

Finally, thank you to the parents, guardians, family members, friends, and the wider Happy Valley-Goose Bay community who came out to support our students. Your presence reminded them that they are surrounded by an incredible community that values and supports their learning.

Together, you helped make this year’s Science Expo a tremendous success!
