Come support All About Play Daycare and our little feathered friends!

The children recently helped hatch 7 adorable baby chicks, and they’re now ready to find their forever homes. We have 7 barnyard mix chicks available for $10 each.

We will be set up Tuesday to Friday:

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our daycare family, Benny the bunny! The children have already been showing so much curiosity, gentleness, and love as they learn how to care for and interact with him.

Having Benny with us will help teach responsibility, empathy, and respect for living things in a hands-on, meaningful way. We’ll be learning all about what bunnies need to stay happy and healthy, from feeding routines to creating a calm and safe environment.

We can’t wait to share more of Benny’s adventures with you all! 💛

This might look like “just playing in the snow”… but there was so much learning happening ❤️

All of the children worked together to gather sticks and build their own “fire.” They problem-solved, shared ideas, and figured out how the fire should look. Then, someone asked for hot water! They were given a bucket of hot water and it was poured over the sticks. When they mixed everything together, they were exploring cause and effect, experimenting, and using their curiosity to guide them. It didn’t end there! The play eventually turned into potion making in a bucket with snow, sand, twigs and whatever else could be found outside!

There was teamwork, communication, and cooperation as they decided who would do what and how to make it work. They practiced patience, took turns, and supported each other’s ideas.

This is what learning looks like in early childhood; hands-on, messy, creative, and driven by imagination. Through play, they are building confidence, independence, and real-life skills that can’t be taught from a worksheet.

We love watching their ideas come to life 💛
