New summer schedule is live now!
07/02/2026
Our Teen & Adult class has officially wrapped up the season! Everyone put in the work, showed up consistently, and made some great progress throughout the year. We’re proud of the effort, improvement, and dedication everyone brought to the mat.
But the judo doesn’t stop for the summer!
On Thursday evenings from 6:00–7:00 PM, we’ll be holding a Judo Open Mat — open to members of all clubs who want to come train. Whether you want to work on kata, uchikomi, or randori, come get some mat time in and keep progressing.
New regular season starts in September!

Tonight we celebrated our 7–13 judo class with awards and promotions!
Great effort all season from every athlete—showing up, working hard, improving skills, and supporting each other on the mat. Congratulations to everyone who was promoted!
Proud of your progress. Keep it going next season!

Please help us congratulate Cape Breton's two newest Judo Black Belts!
Today, Kyle MacLeod and Ro Rochon presented themselves in front of the grading committee and have been confirmed Shodan!
Achieving Shodan in judo is a tremendous accomplishment that takes years of hard training, and commitment to improvement. A black belt is not the end of the journey it is the beginning of a new chapter as a true student of judo.
