We are currently seeking donations of hygiene supplies! 🫧🚿

Needed supplies include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, or any other supplies you wish to donate!

Please note that we can not accept opened or used hygiene products. If you wish to donate, stop by 21 Trinity Avenue, Sydney, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm!

We need finger puppets!

If you are interested in creating finger puppets and need patterns, please reach out to [email protected] She will be happy to assist you.

Please keep finger puppets googly-eye, sequin, and gem-free. We want them to be safe, simple, and ready for little hands to enjoy!

We are excited to announce that another Pro Bono Clinic will be starting this September, with services being provided by Master of Social Work student Heather!

Heather will be providing individual mental health counselling for adults and youth aged 16+, who are residents of Nova Scotia.

If you’re 16–24, experiencing homelessness or housing instability, and in need of a safe and stable place to live, Abbey Ridge may be a fit for you.

Abbey Ridge provides secure, supervised, and supportive housing with 24-hour staff support and a focus on building life skills, confidence, and independence.

You may be eligible if you:
💠 Are 16–24 years old and experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness
💠 Are capable of living independently
💠 Qualify for income assistance or have employment income and agree to pay the designated monthly rent
💠 Want to live in a supportive environment and participate in life-skills programming and goal planning with Abbey Ridge staff

Registration is open again for our next round of Grief Notes: Virtual Grief Groups for Children & Youth. These 8-week virtual grief groups are for children and youth ages 7-18 in NS, NB, and PEI who have experienced the death of a significant person.

October 2026-May 2027.
