I've just had a new paper published in the Holistic Education Review: 'Learning-as-corresponding: An important new way to conceptualize learning.' In it, I leverage anthropologist Timothy Ingold's conceptualization of corresponding / co-responding, as he applied it to human cultures, to frame learning as an act of deeper and more dynamic engagement than served up in conventional psychology or mainstream education. I'm happy to again be teaching 'Introduction to SelfDesign' (FDN 5001) to the new cohort of the Individualized Masters (IMA) program of Antioch University (online), starting this coming week. This course covers a scope of research issues and activities designed to spark student interest in qualitative research with autobiographical leanings.
