MAKE SPACE Sexual Health Education

It’s been awhile since I have added anything personal here. I felt that if I want to support others in their journey I have to start by modelling my own… This is me & I LOVE this version of me. The cliche is true, “The more you learn to love yourself, the more you welcome love into your life.” I have been on this road of self discovery for awhile now. Lately there have been some significant events that have lead to a deepening of my acceptance and love for myself. I can only hope that it radiates out and is a blessing to those that I meet on my path. Much love to each of you wherever you may be on your journey. Keep going. It gets better!

I was inspired by an awesome round of “Let’s Talk About S*x” questions in my class yesterday hosted by the wonderful Jessica Wollen at Shift Education.

“Feminism is for Everyone” by Bell Hooks was the first book I read about feminist and Q***r theory. It was the early 2000s and my world view was very limited. I am so grateful for trailblazers like Bell who challenged us all to reconsider what was possible. RIP peace Bell, we are better because you were here.
