WELCOME BACK WOLF PAC!
Some of our P.A.C. executive will be minding a welcome table in the mornings all this week! Come say hi, introduce new to the school parents and find out whats upcoming this year!
Don't forget that if you have a student enrolled at GES you are automatically a member of PAC! You can get involved as much or as little as you are able!
The main role of the PAC is that because we have those executive roles filled we are able to apply for a community gaming grant that gives us around $20 per student and is used for things that benefit all students at the school like funding extracurricular student activities, field trips, and school community events. Without our PAC executive our school would miss out in that funding.
Some of our executive members have students that will be leaving our school in a year or two and those roles will need to be filled. One of our goals this year is to potentially have two people share each executive role for the next couple years so that we have consistent succession in place and so that no one has to come into a position without support while they learn about the role. The executive feels that if we get great succession planning then our school will have a strong organized PAC for years to come! All skill levels can be on the PAC executive and with more bodies then the planning and tasks are way more streamlined!!
Get a great sleep tonight and we will see you tomorrow!
